Aspects Beauty joined forces with Cool by the Pool and Ann’s Cottage to spread the SPF message to festival-goers in Cornwall.

The Aspects Beauty team headed to Newquay earlier this month, joining the Cool by the Pool team at Boardmasters, the UK’s surf capital festival. Originally a surfing competition, Boardmasters has grown into a world-class celebration of surfing, skateboarding and music, welcoming over 58,000 attendees this year. The 2025 line-up included headline performances from RAYE, The Prodigy and Central CEE!

In partnership with Ann’s Cottage, we hosted a Sun Bum pop-up designed to engage festival-goers, boost brand visibility and drive footfall into store, all while keeping people protected from the sun. Visitors enjoyed free SPF top-ups from pump stations, collected branded stickers, temporary tattoos and discovered hidden “finders keepers” prizes across the beach.

Our team had some much fun with Sun Bum but it also served as an important reminder: SPF is an everyday essential, not just something to reach for on sunny days.

Following the 2024 debut of Michael Kors Pour Femme and Pour Homme, the brand has unveiled two striking new additions, Pour Femme Absolu and Pour Homme Absolu, now available exclusively at The Perfume Shop. This next chapter blends elevated craftsmanship with a fresh twist on the brand’s signature glamour, inspired by the timeless allure of metallics. For 2025, Michael Kors introduces two sophisticated new shades, rose gold and gunmetal brown. Balancing softness with strength, these hues channel the essence of femininity and masculinity while reflecting the designer’s refined approach to luxury.

Michael Kors Pour Femme Absolu

Daring, elegant and confident, Pour Femme Absolu evokes the Michael Kors woman at her most radiant. Housed in a rose gold bottle that glows with warmth and sensuality, the scent opens with Italian mandarin, juicy pear and a pinch of pink pepper. Damask rose and vetiver create a rich, textured heart, while Madagascar vanilla, tonka bean and benzoin deliver a soft yet addictive finish. The result is an ambery fruity floral fragrance that feels like couture in a bottle.
 

Michael Kors Pour Homme Absolu

Masculine yet refined, Pour Homme Absolu is an aromatic woody citrus scent with a magnetic presence. The gunmetal brown bottle mirrors its grounded intensity, blending cool sophistication with earthy warmth. Zesty lemon, cardamom, pink peppercorn and peppermint create a fresh opening, while lavandin, incense and Mahonial bring depth. The base of vetiver and Akigalawood lingers with elegant strength.

The Aspects team attended the sold-out Meet the Perfumer event at Harrods 

On Monday, Harrods welcomed fragrance fans to the Meet the Perfumer event celebrating Nishane, hosted by Alexandre Helwani in the Harrods Auditorium.

Guests were treated to an intimate conversation with master perfumers Julien RASQUINET and Cecile Zarokian, whose longstanding partnerships with NISHANE have helped shape some of the brand’s most iconic creations. 

Champagne, bonbons and macarons set the scene upon arrival, before guests were gifted a luxurious Neill Strain bouquet, an X Collection discovery set and a sample of Oudous Lux Solis – now available exclusively at Harrods and already a favourite among fragrance lovers!
