Sun Bum Made Waves in Newquay

We recently had the pleasure of attending a Sun Bum pop-up on Newquay beach for Boardmasters Festival! This year, the iconic event attracted a huge crowd of 58,000, celebrating surfing, skateboarding and music.

Sun Bum debuted at Polzeath with a giant Sonny perched on a cliff overlooking the beach, drawing the attention of festival-goers. On the beach, the excitement continued as we handed out ‘Finders Keepers Umbrellas’, which were free for anyone to take.

Cool By The Pool, SCJ, Ann’s Cottage, and our Beauty and Wellness teams engaged with attendees by offering temporary tattoos, stickers, and brochures, while also providing educational product demonstrations.

It was two days of fun and we can’t wait for next year’s event!

Our annual summer party was a huge success!

We recently hosted our summer party at Head Office in true Aspects style with Dough & Deer wood fired pizza and Thai Angle’s delicious street food, outdoor games, an ice cream truck and cocktails from Soul Stirrers.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the team to celebrate our achievements so far this year and spend quality time together. 

A major highlight of the day was the tombola with 55 incredible prizes generously donated by the team. The prizes ranged from extra holidays to cash prizes and spa treatments, all in support of The Jim Jackson Foundation. In total, we raised an impressive £1,216, making it our most successful to date!

Aspects PR team took to Paris for the first ever Scent Safari!

Designed as a truly immersive fragrance experience, five perfume loving journalists were invited to join us on a Scent safari, taking a deep dive into one of the most exciting fragrance capitals in the world – Paris! 

After an early start, our first stop was Givaudan for an introduction to fragrance creation and an audience with perfumer Sonia Constant. Sonia demonstrated the unique headspace technology that she uses in the creation of her Ella K fragrances and all our guests received personalised bottles of the soon to be launched Orchid K.

Day two started with a visit to the Jovoy boutique and an exploration of Francois Henin’s fabulous brand, Jeroboam. We were joined by perfumer Vanina Muracciole, creator of the Jeroboam fragrances. Vanina generously shared her creative process and the inspiration behind each of the fragrances. Our guests were then given free rein to explore the boutique, a real ‘kid in a sweet shop’ moment! We were then all whisked off to lunch at Lou Lou. It has a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower for a sneak preview of an exclusive new launch.

The excitement continued with a visit to the newly opened Nishane boutique on Rue St Honoré. Brand Ambassador Alexandre Helwani was on hand to introduce the brand and the various fragrance collections. Alexandre was also our gracious host for dinner at Gigi to celebrate the launch of new fragrance Tuberoza X. 

The next morning, our final destination was Hotel El Dorado. Alexandre J team hosted a beautiful lunch in honour of their newest creation, Butterfly. An added delight was the presentation of handmade chocolates by artisan chocolatier, Edwart Paris. Creator Edwin Yansané joined us to explain the process of making perfumed chocolates, which we were all able to try as we smelled the fragrance. 

The trip was a huge success and we have received lots of amazing feedback and of course, brilliant coverage for all our brands and perfumers. Well done to the PR team and the amazing services they offer. We really hope to be able to do this again!

Discovering Eight & Bob Fragrances at Papillon Living

Last week, we held an exclusive Eight & Bob event at the charming central Brighton concept store, Papillon Living. The evening was dedicated to the discovery of this iconic fragrance brand and attracted a large and engaged audience, eager to delve into the world of luxury perfumes.

Sharon Whiting, our very own perfume expert, introduced the rich history and exquisite craftsmanship of Eight & Bob, known for its refined and timeless scents. Guests mingled and enjoyed delightful refreshments, which included prosecco, an array of sushi and charming Eight & Bob-themed macarons, adding a sweet touch to the evening.

Attendees, inspired by the brand, made numerous purchases and received a complimentary sample of their favourite Eight & Bob fragrance to take home. Overall, the Eight & Bob event at Papillon Living was a resounding success, highlight the wide-ranging appeal of the brand and leaving guests with a memorable experience of fragrance discovery.

We recently had the honour of attending the The Fragrance Foundation Awards 2024 as a Gold Star Sponsor! Our team had a fabulous time, getting dressed up, walking the red carpet and celebrating our remarkable brands nominated for awards??

We’re thrilled to announce that Ella K Camélia K won the prestigious Perfume Extraordinaire Award! Versace Dylan Purple was also a finalist for the People’s Choice Award, Reader’s Choice and Best New Media Campaign making us extremely proud of our diverse and talented portfolio.

The night concluded with a performance by Boyzlife, adding the perfect touch to an evening of celebration and recognition.
