In 1937, a young John F. Kennedy met Parisian aristocrat and perfumer, Albert Fouquet, in the French Riviera – not only was JFK charmed by the man, but he was also intrigued by his captivating scent. Upon his return to America, JFK requested to be sent eight more samples of Albert’s creation “and if your production allows, another one for Bob”.
